No this is not a new Font. It's a simple trick if you use Photoshop. Put the USA in big black letters, I used Rockwell Extra Bold, on a flag. Adjust them so you get the red on the top and the bottom. Then with the Flag over the letters, and only those two layers active, go to the Layers Palette menu and click on "Create Clipping Mask", and it puts it on a transparent background for you. I put a blue 2 pixel stroke on the letters to keep the white strokes from blending in with the white background that Flickr gives you to post on. Just hold down the CTRL key and click the layer with the letters, this puts a selection on the letters, then go to Edit and stroke.

Of course you can use any letters with any background using this method.

The original central section was built in 1863 by lawyer Thomas Haydon. In 1869 Henry M Yerington bought it and made numerous additions. Yerington, associated with major mining and lumber concerns, was a key figure in the operation of the V&T RR. The solarium with its arched windows is reminiscent of a railroad observation car.
